Neurodiversity Screening

Neurodiversity Pre-Diagnostic Screenings
Are you wondering if you may be on the autism spectrum or have ADHD? Our detailed pre-diagnostic screening can provide valuable insights into your neurodivergent traits, helping you make an informed decision about whether to pursue a formal diagnosis or simply self-identify as having autism or ADHD.
With long waiting times and high costs for formal diagnostic assessments, our screenings offer a faster way to explore your neurodiversity and determine the type of support that may be beneficial for you. We also provide full diagnostic private assessments if this is something you’d like to explore. Our assessors are fully trained in completing Autism assessments and ADHD, including ADOS-2 and ADI-R and while you won’t receive a full assessment, they will use aspects of these tools for the screening. and we can provide a referral letter summarizing the findings from your screening to support the formal assessment process or any reasonable adjustments at work or university.
What Our Pre-Diagnostic Screening Includes
Our screening process examines potential autism and ADHD traits, sensory processing, and the extent of masking or compensatory behaviours. You’ll be asked to complete a series of questionnaires that will be analysed before your 2-hour consultation with one of our assessors. We will discuss developmental history, mental health, how these traits are affecting you and then go through some semi structured interviews.
We understand that this process can be nerve-wracking, and we aim to create a comfortable, relaxed environment. Our goal is to make you feel heard and validated during the consultation, which we’ve designed to be as informal and supportive as possible. The screening helps you understand your unique traits, offering clarity and reassurance. You will be offered a feedback session which will highlight what traits you have and how you could adapt your life to be supported with these, whether this is through sensory support, routines to support you day or suggesting regulation activities to support with anxiety.
